So true...

I have so much to say, but very little time to write it.
This post explains pretty well how life has been going lately :)
Not all of it is BAD, per say, but it does make me laugh.  Sometimes it makes me sad.
The other day when I got "What is this?"  "A daycare field trip??".  Oh no, just my family....

I was just thinking today how well Eli has transitioned into our family.  He is just a natural part of our family.  i can't imagine if he weren't here!

I will write more, later :) I have a break, where my time is precious.  Shower, laundry, photo editing...lots to do..not much time to do it in!

  1. DAYCARE FIELD TRIP???? LAWDY!
Little Known Fact: Kerri Mann is very outspoken, and know for saying what others only think. I am not necessarily proud of it, but it is true. Hope I am never with you when someone says such a thing, for I will not be responsible for my words. I am still ticked at your neighbor who fussed at you about the barking.

  2. Forgive them Lord, for they know not what they do. (say) You just keep loving on that boy and be his MOMMA! He loves you and you love him! The Lord looks at the heart, not out outward appearances. We love you for not getting caught up in all that stuff and going after his heart! If only the world could learn that lesson...

  3. We adopted a Korean baby girl with a cleft lip in 1983, and we've gotten a lot of the same comments. In addition, I've had people look at me when I was carrying her and ask, "So is your husband Chinese?" What did they think--I had one husband for the two older biological kids and then got a different one for her?! I've also had someone say to me, "Why would you adopt a baby that isn't perfect?" Wow, I didn't know there was such a thing as a "perfect" kid--biological or adopted! When I was with her in the hospital after her cleft lip repair (pushing her in a stroller with her swollen lip stitched up, her arms wrapped in gauze to keep her from pulling at her lip, and a bruise-like birthmark on her leg), my roommate's sister visited and thought they should arrest me for doing all that to that poor baby! Glad you can laugh, too--finally, that's all you can do! A few people can actually be educated and are truly just ignorant, but there are still a lot of people out there that are just plain ignorant (in the worst sense of the word).
