Wednesday Updates...

What a week!
Let's see...what has happened..
  • I have had so much fun editing pictures of my friends Josh and Kelsey and their two sweet kids!
  • I had a wonderful photography growth group last night, and we talked about the 7 different elements of a good photo.  I also felt like I got to connect with some friends that I haven't had a chance to connect with lately, so that was a wonderful time...and I feel like I am deepening some relationships at my church!
  • We have been bombarded with the unexpected news that Ethiopia intends to reduce their adoptions by as much as 90%, beginning on March 10th.  We are overwhelmed with that idea and praying that it will not happen! Luckily, this will not affect our friends Lesli and Ryan as they leave to go pick up their baby this weekend.
  • This is the article..  It is going to affect many people we know....if it goes into effect...including US. It is such a heartbreaking thing, that the government bureacracy might get into the way of saving orphans.  It makes me wonder if we should switch our country...maybe that is why the Lord is just allowing our homestudy to get finished THIS week... such a hard thing for us to move forward with!
  •  If you have not yet signed this petition for Ethiopia – Please consider doing so. The Joint Council is involved with trying to help find a solution for what is going on in Ethiopia. Details are still “sketchy” but you can help by signing this petition…more than 9000 have signed it so far…

  • And then there is my sweet hubby. Who is always a great guinea pig at photo shoots, to help me get my lighting, aperature and shutter speed set correctly for moving families. So I told him to run around for a minute.  He had no problem with that.  I love him :)

  2. Hey! You don't know me but I'm Jamie Pepin's sister-in-law and found your site via some blog roaming :) Just wanted to let you know that I signed the petition and prayed that God's hand would be over your family and your adoption journey!
