The frames have been distressed...the black and white pictures have NOT been printed...the canvases have been painted, but I'm not sure if I love them. Sweet old AG took an active role in this project. He distressed the frames while I was working and hung them up! Hooray! When he gets on a roll you can't stop him... I can't decide if I even LIKE the "W", much less lOVE it, but it does serve as a cover for the nasty little thermostat...so if nothing else I like it for that reason.
He is the only one worth throwing yourself towards. We have been struggling a lot lately with our life path. Will we regret it if we don't go into full time ministry? Will we live a 'mediocre' life? (Because we tend to throw ourselves 'all in' to our jobs...if they're not ministry, will we be doing our faith a disservice? Will we just wish we would've done more?) Anyway....I'm sure you wanted that long story. The short of it is, we decided on "Reckless Abandon" and I tried to copy one of the cute fonts I downloaded from Kevin and Amanda on the canvases I painted with chalkboard paint. I also painted the "W" with chalkboard paint. I'm sure I will change it or write on the W eventually. BUt for now...it's a cute hallway :)
I think it looks great and that those two words are perfect for you both!

ReplyDeleteThis looks so great. I totally agree...He is the only thing worth throwing ourselves toward and putting our total faith in. And clever thermostat trick.
ReplyDeleteI love the idea of picking a few words. We are still in the middle of making resolutions. I may have to do this one!
