If you're wondering why I have no face in any of these shots...it's because I had no makeup on and my hair was a total wreck. And I was taking these from a tripod with a self timer, which was the first time I had ever done that.
And of course I'm kidding. I love fun, loving acts like shopping and lawn mowing, but it is not at the heart of my love. I had the best time with my in laws. They came late Friday night on their way back from Tampa and they left around 1 or 2pm on Saturday. It was a super short visit but I felt really encouraged and loved by their time here. If you work with me, you'll notice that I wore the red version of this blue dress today. I had already bought the red dress and loved it, so I thought that everyone could use the same dress in another color. :) I love dresses. I love spring and summer. Flowers Blooming. Pollen in the air. The weather is not so burning hot that we can actually go outside... Hooray.
I feel so loved by my in laws. They are the kind of people that would drive all night to come to your house if you were having a tough day. They just love so deeply. They are unconditional, caring, incredible people. My parents do too, but I just feel thankful to have married into such an amazing, Godly family.

ReplyDeleteThe dresses are all from Marshalls!! In Hilton Head, they had a red (on top) version of the blue dress, so I already bought that. I love it! If they don't have it at your Marshalls...I would buy it for you here. :) I love it that much!
