The summer so far...

This pregnancy seems to be flying by! I am 27 weeks already!
We are going to childbirth classes on Tuesday nights and I feel like I am learning a lot.
Our sweet friends Josh and Kelsey are coming with us, which is AWESOME, because with this life, it helps to have BUILT IN time with friends. If the time is not intentional, I feel like we never see anyone!!
And poor Brandon has been sleeping all day (for about 5 hours a day) and then going back to work. Poor guy. And poor me. I don't like being alone, b ut it does give me some time to catch up with some of my introverted self. My summer goal is to get photos put in albums from our high school/college years. I want to be able to look back on them in an album, but I am slowly sucking it up and realizing that I am not going to be scrapbooking them anytime soon. And since kids will just make everything crazier....well...it's time!

I haven't been doing much crafting. Pretty much all my time is spent editing photos. It is like my full time job right now....the full time job that pays minimum wage :) Luckily I do love it!

We have spent a lot of our summer on the boat. We took Emma Jane out for the first time, which we all LOVED.



She wasn't sure about the life jacket. She loved it until we put that on.


Uncle B liked the life jacket a little too much.

He loved introducing EJ to the lake. SHe wasn't sure she liked it with Uncle B in the water, but she had fun with her momma!!

She clung to Amy most of the day, which was super sweet.

She thought Jordan was so funny on the tube...

We got Bella on the tube, which momma did not like (me...)


Off to the gym for spin class....and then editing photos and going to the pool.
This summer life is pretty rough...

{One Less} Photography and T-shirts...almost here..

Photography is so much fun for me to do. It is a way to document what is happening in my life. It is a way to give the gift of photography to others. I am about to announce my summer schedule and available dates. Recently I read a blog (that I plan to stalk forever) about a girl whose family adopted a boy while they were pregnant.  She is overwhelmed at times...and I know I will be too...but she is having a great time and enjoying her sweet family.  I am so excited to enjoy the boys that will be joining our family!

I wish I could get into telling you about the amazing Easter at mychurch, but that will be another day.

For now, I will share about some recent changes in our home have been LIFE CHANGING.
Sounds dramatic, but it is true.
When we first moved into our home, I begged my husband to extend our fence so that it would include our back door. This enabled us to install a doggie door and have the dogs go in and out as they please. This would hopefully solve the pillow chewing problem. Well, it has, I am pleased to announce! Thanks to some awesome and wonderful men who came to help, our fence is extended and we now have a doggie door.
I took some photos as Brandon cut a huge hole in the door and then went to the store to get some 'materials'. The dogs were scared to death and very confused. It was very fun to watch!

Some people think it's weird...I give my dogs a voice on occasion.
"Hey Buoy, why do you think we have a hole in the door? Do you think I can go through it?"

Mom, I'm not sure how I feel about this...or all the sawdust on the floor...

This is now filling the hole!

And then Bella again, "Please, please, let me run back out. You don't need to vaccum up the sawdust, I will drag it through the house for you.."

And then there is some straggler photos of Emma Jane.
She turns 11 months today. It feels like I just went to meet her in the hosptial. I was pregnant with Briar. And feeling like it was the most amazing moment ever. It was my first friend to have a baby where I got to be a part of the pregnancy all the way through.






What an amazing Easter weekend too.
