{People I LOVE}

I am so fortunate.  The Lord has blessed my life BEYOND measure.  It hasn't always been easy.  4 deployments. One child in heaven.  Other challenges along the way.  But my life is wonderful and I have incredible people in it.

I don't consider myself too complicated. I am a daughter of God (first) and two amazing parents who live in Kentucky.  I am married to the man of my dreams who I met in high school.  He asked me to go to homecoming freshman year of high school and I said NO because he wore dirt bike jerseys to school. He was in my homeroom.  Since then, I have realized the mistakes of my way and asked him to take me back. :)  He is an amazing man of God who loves with such a big heart. He is also a warrior. He is was in the Army.  I am so lucky to have such an amazing husband.  We are now back in our hometown, after moving around to North Caroline and a long stint in Georgia.

We have one child in heaven, a little boy named Briar.  We are proud parents to him. He is entrusted to his sweet heavenly father until we are there with him.  We have a biological son who is sweet and adorable TWO years old :) , named Finn.   We have another little boy we brought home from Ethiopia, his name is Eli (Elijah Yosef), and he is three.  He is gorgeous, and we are so thankful he is home with us.  Our children are 10 months apart and different races...but they often are mistaken as twins. No lie.

I can't even begin to talk about friendships.  My love language is words of affirmation, so I feel so thankful for my amazing friends who feed into my life with kind words and sweet gestures.  I have been so blessed to have amazing friends near and far.  The reason I am choosing to come back to blogging in 2014 is this:  some of my sweetest friends are people I know mostly online.  Whether it be from blogging or losing a baby or just simply because they are fun crafters or have great recipes... blogs bring people together.  So thanks for being here :)
